Top handle bags, designer shapes at a lower price
The top handle bag is the most structured silhouette we sell and the one that reads most clearly as a designer piece. Lorenzia stocks the classic trapeze shapes with a turn-lock, compact satchels with a padlock, doctor-style frame bags and softer top handle styles that collapse slightly when set down. All are made to the same specification as the boutique version, with the same leathers, hardware and craftspeople behind them, and sold well below retail.
Size and strap options
Small top handle bags of around 20 cm hold a phone, keys and a cardholder, and most come with a long strap for crossbody wear. Medium styles of 25 to 30 cm add room for sunglasses and a small wallet. Larger versions of 35 cm and above will take an A5 notebook and work as a smart office bag. Where a shoulder strap is included, the drop is usually adjustable between 45 and 55 cm.
Leathers that hold their shape
Structured bags rely on a firm leather. Grained calfskin and embossed grained leathers are stiff enough to keep a sharp line and resist scratches. Smooth box calf is glossier and more formal. Suede and lambskin versions exist, but they are softer and suit less structured shapes.
Storage
Keep the bag stuffed and upright in its dust bag, with the handles standing rather than folded, so the leather does not crease at the base of the handle.
